Role and Responsibilities:
As a Golang Technical Lead, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute both your technical expertise and leadership skills to our development team. Your responsibilities will include:

• Architectural Vision (20%): Collaborate with the team to define and evolve the technical architecture of our Golang-based applications. Drive architectural decisions that ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability.

• echnical Guidance (80%):Provide hands-on technical guidance and mentorship to the development team. Review code, conduct design sessions, and ensure best practices are followed. Share your knowledge and expertise to elevate the skills of your colleagues.

• Collaboration:Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers, to deliver high-quality software products. Foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing.

• Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Golang and related technologies. Identify opportunities to incorporate new tools, libraries, and practices that enhance our software development process.

Qualifications:

• Strong experience with Golang, including designing and building complex applications.

• Proven leadership skills with a track record of guiding and mentoring development teams.

• Solid understanding of software architecture principles and patterns.

• Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture is a plus.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude.

• Effective communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience with Agile development methodologies.

Our office is conveniently located in Manchester, UK. We offer a hybrid working model, where you'll be expected to work onsite 2 days a week, allowing you to collaborate with the team and enjoy face-to-face interactions. The remaining days can be spent working remotely.
