This role is to provide architectural and systems design level input into the software engineering team. Specifically responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based, event-driven solutions using Microsoft Azure and .NET technologies.

The tech currently -

Blazor and C# with Azure SQL and other NoSQL stores

The team -

Are fully remote, based mostly in the US and UK. They enjoy a strong team ethos, with a lot of collaboration. Never alone, despite being in your home office.

Responsibilities include -

• Review and improve the infrastructure (Azure)

• Document what is in place and plan the roadmap of improvements

• Write prototypes for new solutions

• Create components, frameworks, libraries, for event driven development

• Aid in the implementation of AI tools such as ChatGPT and Copilot across the software development lifecycle.

• Analyze and evaluate business requirements to define the optimal technical solution and architecture

• Lead the evaluation and selection of tools, technologies, and platforms to support the implementation of cloud-based, event-driven solutions.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design documents, and API specifications

• Guide the development of the Blazor based front end system

• Design APIs for internal and external communication for inbound and outbound data.

• Model and assist in auditing of security features
