A wonderful business with an invaluable SaaS product, that helps Educational institutions worldwide, to operate more effectively and efficiently.
This role is to provide architectural and systems design level input into the software engineering team. Specifically responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based, event-driven solutions using Microsoft Azure and .NET technologies.
The tech currently -
Blazor and C# with Azure SQL and other NoSQL stores
The team -
Are fully remote, based mostly in the US and UK. They enjoy a strong team ethos, with a lot of collaboration. Never alone, despite being in your home office.
Responsibilities include -
Review and improve the infrastructure (Azure)
Document what is in place and plan the roadmap of improvements
Write prototypes for new solutions
Create components, frameworks, libraries, for event driven development
Aid in the implementation of AI tools such as ChatGPT and Copilot across the software development lifecycle.
Analyze and evaluate business requirements to define the optimal technical solution and architecture
Lead the evaluation and selection of tools, technologies, and platforms to support the implementation of cloud-based, event-driven solutions.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design documents, and API specifications
Guide the development of the Blazor based front end system
Design APIs for internal and external communication for inbound and outbound data.
Model and assist in auditing of security features
