SRE Engineer, £75,000 - £100,000 (Fully Remote must be UK based)

If you are looking to work with a high performing cloud-based business who is directing through a large expansion into the UK. This means a Greenfield environment with no legacy technology.

If you have a passion for SRE, have either previously set up SRE environments or worked in exceptional pre-existing SRE environments. Know what best practice looks like and are always striving to improve this, then we have the role for you.

We are looking for people with observability, Automation and Toil Removal on the brain.

You will be able to demonstrate experience with:

• Excellent experience of SRE ideologies working with SLI, SLO, Observability, Automation and TOIL Removal.

• Strong experience in using DevOps tools such as Kubernetes, Terraform, GitLab, GitHub and Jenkins.

• Experience working with cloud-based infrastructure with a focus on AWS or GCP.

• Monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus or DataDog.

• Experience with Disaster recovery & Business continuity.

• Strong vendor relationship skills; capable of maximising the value of services provided by hosting partner, security and load testing partners, monitoring and alerting tools.

Ideally you will have experience of

• Scripting languages such as Python or GoLang

• Experience with multiple cloud platforms.
