Software Development Squad Lead 

Remote / Manchester

£60-80,000 depending on experience 

Lead a team of talented multi-skilled engineers, building slick digital consumer products, relying on complex and modern technology.

The business is thriving post-lockdown, being fortunate to be in a growth industry and with millions of customers on-line worldwide.

The tech is complex, it needs to be resilient, scalable and slick for consumers and colleagues.

The Software Lead will run a squad of senior engineers who are extremely proficient in a range of technologies including - 

Full stack on AWS including front end (JavaScript/React), back end (PHP/Go/C#) and infrastructure (CDK/NodeJS/C#), Kubernetes

They work as generalists, responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. Full design, develop, test and deploy and OWN.

Skills required inc

Team leadership in software development 

A technical depth / strength - that might be in React or AWS for example - something to add some technical authority 

Agile, CICD, scrum and planning expertise 

Well versed and practical experience managing TDD and OOP
