Senior Software Engineer (NODE/TYPESCRIPT)

Seeking a skilled and experienced Node.js and TypeScript Developer to join our remote development team. As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and efficient server-side applications using Node.js and TypeScript. This is a remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own location.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and efficient server-side applications using Node.js and TypeScript.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, product managers, and designers, to understand project requirements and deliver robust solutions.
3. Design and implement RESTful APIs and web services to support various client applications.
4. Optimize application performance and scalability by identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
5. Ensure code quality through code reviews, testing, and debugging.
6. Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following best practices and coding standards.
7. Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure seamless deployment and continuous integration processes.
8. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies related to Node.js, TypeScript, and backend development, and share knowledge with the team.

Requirements:

1. Proven work experience as a Node.js and TypeScript Developer, preferably in a remote environment.
2. Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript, with a deep understanding of their core concepts, frameworks, and libraries.
3. Solid experience in building RESTful APIs and microservices using Node.js and TypeScript.
4. Familiarity with modern web development technologies such as Express.js, Nest.js, or similar frameworks.
5. Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
6. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
8. Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
9. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required).
