Job Title: Mid-Level Front-End Engineer

Location: London (3 days on site in Hammersmith per week)

 

We are actively seeking a talented Mid-Level Front-End Engineer to contribute to our innovative team.
As a key player, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining user interfaces, ensuring a seamless and visually appealing experience for our clients/users.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct UX/UI design for web applications.
- Collaborate with the Development team on various projects.
- Develop high-quality, reusable code using modern front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks like React.
- Implement and maintain front-end architecture for scalability, performance, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Prototype dashboards and user interfaces for internal and external stakeholders.
- Optimize applications for speed and efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends and contribute to continuous improvement in processes and codebase.
- Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate components with server-side logic.
- Conduct code reviews, providing constructive feedback to team members.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues for a smooth user experience.

Requirements:
- Proven mid-level experience as a Front-End Developer.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks (preferably React).
- Understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
- Familiarity with CMS systems (preferably WordPress).
- Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility and accessibility standards.
- Solid understanding of web performance optimization techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN, etc.).
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
- UK resident.

Nice to Have:
- Experience with build tools (Webpack, Babel, etc.).
- Knowledge of state management libraries (preferably Redux).
- Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Jasmine, etc.).
- Advantageous to have some knowledge of PowerBI.
