Linux System Administrator, Remote, £45,000 to £55,000

You will be working within a scale-up business with technology at its core. Investing heavily in technology they are currently running a Hybrid Linux / AWS environment. They need an experienced Linux Engineer who is looking to develop their career towards DevOps working with AWS, IaC and CI/CD (training can be provided).

Ideally you will have an extensive experience of enterprise Linux environments (Redhat, Ubuntu, Centos – it doesn’t matter) and will be comfortable writing automation scripts in either Bash, Python or Shell. Any previous experience with AWS would be a huge benefit.

This is a great opportunity to develop your career and tech with a company going through a transformation to Cloud and DevOps. Working with a business who already has a product used globally by big brand clients.

You will have previous experience

• Good knowledge of Linux administration.
• Good Scripting knowledge Bash, Python, shell.
• Some exposure to Public Cloud.

Desirable experience

• Building, deploying and optimising services within the AWS platform.
• Designing, building, and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• IaC experience ideally with Terraform but other tools considered.
