Linux Engineer, £40,000 to £55,000, South Yorkshire

You will be working within a start-up business with technology at its core. Investing heavily in technology they are currently running a Linux based environment and look to migrate to AWS. They need an experienced Linux Engineer who is looking to develop their career towards DevOps working with AWS, IaC and CI/CD (training can be provided).

Ideally you will have an extensive experience of enterprise Redhat Linux environments and will be comfortable writing automation scripts in either Bash, Python or Shell. Any previous experience with AWS would be a huge benefit.

You will have previous experience

• Good knowledge of Linux administration (ideally Redhat).
• Good Scripting knowledge Bash, Python, shell.
• Working collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams to deliver project requirements.

Desirable experience

• Building, deploying and optimising services within the AWS platform.
• Designing, building, and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• IaC experience ideally with Terraform but other tools considered.
