Remote Software Engineer

Role

  • A remote working Software Developer who will be exposed to enterprise scale architectures and processes.
  • Our growth has meant that we have to rethink our approach to development and ensure our systems have the scalability to match our success.
  • You will not only be challenged to deliver high quality code but will also be required to assist in the analysis and estimation of work items. We will provide all of the support you need to succeed in this role.
  • You will be delivering real-time content across multiple devices, as well as processing and settlement of transactions driven from that content.

 

Technical Skills

 

  • Experience with Javascript and/or Typescript.
  • Experience working with HTML5 and CSS3.
  • Experience of working with distributed or concurrent, multi-tiered applications.
  • Excellent technical communicator, both verbally and in writing.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks and to work independently.
  • A degree in a computer science discipline or relevant professional experience along with previous experience of working from home is desirable.

 

Main Responsibilities

 

  • Supporting and enhancing the existing code base.
  • Maintaining clean coding practises.
  • Identifying technical areas of improvement.
  • Contributing to solution proposals as required.
  • Creating work effort estimates as required.
