As an EUC Engineer, you will be responsible for driving build definitions, OS images, applications, and updates across the company's infrastructure. Your role will encompass investigating and resolving technical incidents, managing end user devices, and collaborating with suppliers to ensure seamless operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to package, deploy, and maintain applications using SCCM, guaranteeing compatibility and compliance with our company standards.
  • Take charge of application installation and deployment scripts, configurations, and documentation, ensuring seamless deployments and simplified updates.
  • Implement and manage patch management processes using SCCM to ensure our systems are up-to-date and secure against vulnerabilities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application packaging, deployment, and compatibility issues to provide reliable solutions and uninterrupted user experiences.
  • Provide exceptional support to end users by addressing their application-related inquiries and incidents promptly.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an End User Compute Engineer, with a specialised focus on application packaging and patch management using SCCM.
  • Extensive knowledge of SCCM, including application deployment, software updates, and task sequences.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages like PowerShell for automation and customisation, enabling streamlined operations.
  • Experience with software patching methodologies and best practices, ensuring secure and up-to-date systems.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to end-user applications, ensuring smooth user experiences.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and provide exceptional user support.
