Engineering Manager

This role can be 100% remote (UK based)

We need an ENGINEERING MANAGER for an exciting new product for a fast-growing UK company.

The focus will be on operating lean, being innovation-driven and rapid innovation.

Role

• lead a squad of full-stack software engineers.
• You will maintain and extend our existing front-end platform which is built off of a modern stack consisting of React & Typescript.
• Back-end development mostly consisting of REST API’s and AWS Lambda functions, mostly built in Typescript with MongoDB as a datastore.

Skills

• Strong JavaScript (with experience in Nodejs or React js)
• Experience leading a small team in high growth area.
• Cloud experience-ideally AWS
• Knowledge of functional programming
