Cloud Engineer (AWS / Linux)

£45,000 - £50,000 + Car Allowance

Working for a technology business developing a world leading SaaS platform. They operate within the global sports industry supporting world recognised brands to improve their offerings.

You will have the opportunity to build cloud first Linux based platforms in AWS using IaC to implement scalable containerised platforms. You will also monitor and optimise performance. You will be involved in the build and management of CI/CD pipelines and involved in scripted automation.

You don’t need to know everything. A desire to learn is essential though. Training is available in IaC, CI/CD and containerisation but some exposure to AWS and an in-depth knowledge of Linux are required.

Key Skills

• In-depth Linux administration experience (Redhat, Ubuntu, Centos – doesn’t matter which).
• Exposure to AWS
• Knowledge of SQL

Ideally some (but not all) of the below

• IaC - Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible
• CI/CD – Jenkins, CircleCI, Git, or other tools
• Scripting – Python, Bash, PowerShell, Golang
• Containerisation – Docker, Kubernetes
