Xamarin Developer


£40,000 to £55,000

Design and development of cross platform mobile solutions. You will be instrumental in helping us make a successful transition to a Xamarin/C#/.NET development environment as well as implement new cloud based mobile applications

  • Passionate about mobile!!!
  • Design, develop, test and maintain mobile applications using Xamarin / C# for both iOS and Android
  • Develop new functionality, applications and solutions from technical specifications
  • Resolving defects and maintenance of existing code
  • Identify and report issues affecting project delivery
  • Contribute to solution architecture and design processes
  • Liaise with internal product stakeholders 
  • Produce technical documentation
  • Provide internal technical support for developed software
  • Participate in internal meetings as required


Essential Skills:

  • Xamarin Forms and Xamarin for mobile application development
  • Strong C# and .NET and/or .NETcore skills
  • Android / iOS app development
  • Integrating with existing and creating new web services

Desireable Skills: 

  • Azure Serverless Database programming with SQLite, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server / Azure SQL, Spatialite
  • Azure Services - Azure AppService, Azure SQL, Azure Storage, Azure AD, Azure B2C
  • Experience with GIS systems. Mapbox, ESRI ArcGIS, OpenLayers, Leaflet
  • Familiarity with geographic data GeoJSON, PostGIS, MS SQL Spatial Types and WKT
  • Experience with unit test frameworks
